On Thursday, May 12th Southwestern Community College’s Respiratory Therapy program held a
pinning ceremony for 8 graduates in the Burrell Conference Center on the Jackson Campus.
Leanne Downs of Franklin, Kristin Farmer of Canton, Tamra Nations of Bryson City, Jamika Lewis of
Franklin, Kendra Hall of Cullowhee, Taylor Carrigan of Waynesville, Amanda Couch of Whittier and
Cydney Iamaio of Sylva have been prepared by the program to work in hospitals, clinics, doctor’s
offices, nursing homes, education, industry and home care.
