The clinic will begin at 6 p.m., and members of the public are invited to bring their telescopes and get pointers from a professional astronomer on how to use it.

Beginning at 7 p.m., astronomy faculty will be there to show the moon and other highlights of the early spring evening sky.

This event is presented by the Department of Chemistry and Physics. Participants can show up at any time during the event and are urged to dress warmly. In case of bad weather or overcast skies, the clinic and viewing will be canceled. Contact Enrique Gómez, associate professor of physics and astronomy, at 828-227-2718 for more information.
